Terms and Conditions
Last updated 27 April 2026
These Terms set out the contract between you and Prescriptify when you use our service, including how subscriptions work, how cancellations are handled, and how to complain if something goes wrong. Please read them carefully.
§
About us
Prescriptify is the trading name of ACRE Pharmacy Ltd. (Company number 15487201). We are a UK-registered online pharmacy (GPhC 9011661) and we provide prescription and non-prescription medicines to UK residents over 18 years of age. Our superintendent pharmacist is Dalbir Singh Aujla, MRPharmS (GPhC 2085686).
§
Eligibility
You must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom to use our service. Some treatments require additional eligibility — for example, weight-management treatments require a clinical assessment with one of our prescribing pharmacists. You must answer the assessment truthfully and completely. Knowingly providing false information is a breach of these terms and may put your health at risk.
§
Our service
We provide an online consultation, dispensing, and supply service for the medicines listed on our website. For prescription-only medicines (POMs), our prescribing pharmacist reviews each assessment on its individual merits. We may approve, decline, request more information, or refer you to your GP. The decision is at the clinical discretion of the prescribing pharmacist, whose responsibility is to your safety.
§
Pricing and payment
Our prices are shown in pounds sterling, inclusive of VAT where applicable. You authorise payment of the full order amount on submission. If your assessment is not approved, the full amount is refunded to your original payment method automatically.
§
Refunds
Our refund policy is set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
§
Cancellation
You may cancel an unfulfilled order at any time by contacting us at info@prescriptify.co.uk and we will refund you in full.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, distance-sale customers normally have a 14-day cooling-off period to return goods. Medicinal products that have been dispensed are exempt from this right under those Regulations and the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, because once a medicine has left a registered pharmacy's cold-chain control we cannot verify that it has been stored correctly and it cannot safely be re-supplied to another patient. We will always refund you for any order we have not yet dispatched, and we will replace any order that arrives damaged or with a broken cold-chain seal at our cost (see our Returns and Refunds Policy).
§
Subscription and recurring supply
Some of our treatments — including weight-management protocols — are typically supplied on a recurring monthly basis. Our model is opt-in active renewal, not automatic. Specifically:
- After your first month's medicine has been dispatched, we will email you 5 working days before your next month's supply is due. That email contains a link to confirm, pause, or cancel your next month.
- If you do not actively confirm before the next due date, no charge is taken from your card and no medicine is dispatched.
- You can pause or cancel at any time from your account at /account, with no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
- If you cancel partway through a paid cycle, the medicine you have already paid for will still be dispatched as scheduled.
- Your pharmacist may pause or stop your prescription on clinical grounds at any time. If they do, the next month will not be charged and your treatment will be reviewed in your account inbox.
We will never resume a paused subscription without your explicit active consent.
§
Limitation of liability
Subject to the exclusions below, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with our service is limited to the amount you paid for the order or service that gave rise to the claim, except where the claim relates to:
- The medicines we dispense, where our liability is governed by our professional indemnity insurance and by the Consumer Protection Act 1987, and is not capped by these Terms.
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any matter for which it would be unlawful for us to limit or exclude liability under UK law.
Nothing in these Terms restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.
§
Complaints
If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us at info@prescriptify.co.uk in the first instance. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to provide a substantive response within 20 working days. Complaints involving a clinical decision are personally reviewed by our superintendent pharmacist.
If you remain unhappy after our response, you may escalate to:
- The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), which regulates pharmacies and pharmacists in Great Britain, at pharmacyregulation.org. The GPhC investigates concerns about pharmacy premises and the fitness to practise of individual pharmacists.
- The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), if your complaint relates specifically to how we have handled your data, at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
Nothing on this page affects your right to bring a civil claim in the courts of England and Wales.
§
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be settled in the courts of England and Wales.
§
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published at prescriptify.co.uk/terms.
