The Pharmacy

Prescription medicine, properly delivered.

Prescriptify is a UK-registered pharmacy operated by named pharmacists, dispensing licensed medicines under the supervision of the General Pharmaceutical Council. The rest of this page is the receipts.

Most online pharmacies in the UK today are marketing companies that contract a dispensary. The face of the brand and the people responsible for the medicine are different people, in different buildings, working to different standards. We didn't think that was acceptable for medicines as serious as GLP-1 agonists or injectable NAD+, so we built a pharmacy first, and a brand second.

Our superintendent pharmacist runs the dispensary. Our prescribing pharmacists read every assessment. Our pharmacy is registered, our premises are inspected, our cold chain is monitored. Everything you read on the rest of this site has been signed off by the people who are personally accountable to the GPhC for what leaves our door.

That is the standard you should expect from any pharmacy. We were simply unwilling to build anything less.

Cold chain integrity

Every prescription leaves our dispensary in a validated, monitored refrigerated container. We log temperature continuously from dispatch to delivery. If any leg of the chain breaches 8°C for longer than the medicine's specification, we replace the order at our cost, no questions.

Batch traceability

We can trace every dose dispensed back to the manufacturer's batch number, our wholesaler's invoice, and the pharmacist who released it. We retain records for a minimum of two years, in line with GPhC guidance, and longer for controlled drugs.

Refusal as a feature

We refuse approximately 18% of prescription applications. Sometimes for clinical contraindication. Sometimes because the questionnaire makes it clear that the patient hasn't engaged with what they're asking for. We are a pharmacy, not a marketplace; that distinction matters.

The thing about your data, in plain English.

Your medical assessment, prescription record, and message history sit in encrypted UK-hosted infrastructure. Only the pharmacists working on your case can access your full record; everyone else on our team works against pseudonymised data only. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with insurers. We don't profile you to ad networks. The only third parties that touch your data are the payment processor (Stripe), the courier (named on dispatch), and - if you ask us to, your GP. The full data architecture is published on our privacy page. Read it. We mean it.
